The Mondulkiri Elephant & Wildlife Sanctuary is a protected forest area & an eco-tourism wildlife conservation project near Sen Monorom, Mondulkiri province, Cambodia.
The sanctuary, developed and sponsored by L.E.A.F Cambodia: a local conservation non–profit, working towards spreading wildlife & habitat protection through the development of community based ecotourism, creating livelihoods & making conservation education accessible to local youth.
L.E.A.F's conservation & biodiversity developments create sustainable livelihoods that support Mondulkiri’s indigenous people and sponsor the retirement of Mondulkiri’s domestic elephants. Please read the full info about LEAF, our team & Mondulkiri project information.
Eco Tour programs to the sanctuary & surrounding protected community forests are designed for visitors looking to support sustainable tourism & wildlife conservation. Visitor contributions directly sponsor local forests protection, working elephant retirement & helping captive / trafficked wildlife.
During the sanctuary trekking tours & ethical elephant experience, you can see & explore Mondulkiri’s unique natural habitats and culture, learn about elephant care, get up close and interact with the elephants, feed them, bath & groom them at the Sanctuary rainforest elephant pool.
It is also possible to join the sanctuary team and volunteer with us. We invite all to join us, help Cambodia's wildlife & make a difference:
