The Mondulkiri Elephant & Wildlife Sanctuary is a protected forest area & eco-tourism wildlife conservation center near Sen Monorom, Mondulkiri province, Cambodia.
The sanctuary is a non–profit community project developed and sponsored by L.E.A.F Cambodia: a local environmental protection NGO.
L.E.A.F's development of community based conservation & ecotourism programs, creates sustainable livelihoods that benefits Mondulkiri’s indigenous people and sponsors the retirement of Mondulkiri’s domestic working elephants.
L.E.A.F is now working towards establishing an active reforestation program in Mondulkiri & making conservation education accessible to local Cambodian youth. To learn more : please read about the L.E.A.F community & project information.
Ecotourism programs to the sanctuary & surrounding protected community forests are designed for visitors interested in support sustainable tourism & wildlife conservation. Visitor contributions directly sponsor working elephant retirement, local reforestation & captive / trafficked wildlife rescues.
During the sanctuary trekking tours & ethical elephant experience, you can see & explore Mondulkiri’s unique natural habitats and culture, learn about elephant care, get up close and interact with the elephants, feed them, bath & groom them at the Sanctuary rainforest elephant pool.

On behalf of the L.E.A.F team, We would like to express our thanks & gratitude to all recent project visitors, supporters & volunteers:
Thanks to you - We were able to complete so much with very limited resources. We have completed the construction of Mondulkiri’s first emergency wildlife treatment enclosure & new sanctuary long house. We’re currently fundraising in order to to help additional families retire their working elephants - Replant forests & expand our protected area.
We greatly appreciate your help and support!
