Jahoo tours offers the only private group access to the heart of the Keo Seima Wildlife Sanctuary (KSWS), which is famous for being home to over 25% of Cambodia's gibbon population.
Jahoo gibbon camp offers a good chance to view many local wildlife species, this includes an abundance of primates, including globally endangered southern yellow-cheeked crested gibbon, langurs and macaques. .
Destruction of local forests and urbanization left many families without resources. The Jahoo project empowers and encourages active indigenous involvement in curbing illegal activities that threaten wildlife such as loggers, hunters and land grabbers. Over 90% of project revenues goes into the communities, including directly funding extra wildlife patrols
